Bannatyne Leisure Centre

Project Info

What We Did

Completed early in 2018 Geoffrey Robinson were involved in this unprogrammed work which was required when Bannatyne’s existing heating plant was struggling to operate effectively in the extreme winter conditions. Our team quickly mobilised and offered immediate support and designs to replace the old boiler to install new, more reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Close liaison with the estate team at Bannatyne’s was essential. The heating demand was critical to the daily requirement and running of their club, which includes a spa and swimming pool complex.

To facilitate the 24/7 heating requirement our team connected and installed one of Geoffrey Robinson’s temporary plantrooms, in line with the required heat output, which was utilised during programmed overnight suspension of the primary boiler function. This enabled works to be completed without disruption to the customers using the leisure centre.
