Working alongside the estates, painters and domestic staff at NTH Solutions, Geoffrey Robinson has handed over a newly refurbished elderly care ward has been handed over to North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
Ward 42 underwent a full transformation in just 8 weeks, including a full decant and deep clean, new flooring, complete redecoration, LED lighting, staff base, store room
and doctors room
The newly refurbished ward now has the use of an oasis suite. This room is used to care for patients who are in the last stage of their life, allowing patients’ families to stay with their loved ones in a calming, peaceful environment.
The colourful decoration in patient bays and rooms not only lifts the spirits of the patients and staff but also makes it easier for dementia patients to navigate around the ward more easily.
We hope the team are enjoying working in their new environment.
